Spring over to 4 Crafty Chicks

Hello friends, I can't believe how much I wanted Spring this year.  Such a long and cold/snowy winter.
So today Lori at 4 Crafty Chicks is challenging us to make something for Spring! I made this card for my parents for St. Patrick's day last Monday.  I had fun coloring and blinging it up some.  I also now realized that the word "Bling" is a new word for my Mom, she didn't know what it meant when I said I added the bling to it.  So now Mom likes this word.  She makes me smile.
I have so many stamps and embellishments for spring, but thought this clean and simple for me worked alright. Please go over and check out what all the chicks are making for spring, I would like to thank Kallan for being on our blog this month as a guest designer, it was a joy creating with you.  Till next time, happy crafting!
Supplies I used: SU-Cardstock, Embossing folder, Bling, Ribbon, Pearls, 3D Foam tape, Computer for sentiment, Copic Markers.

Fun with a Friend

Tonight has been so fun, cyber crafting with my friend Tamie.  She challenged us to make a fun card, and we are using From The Heart Stamps.  I am not sure what one she is using, but go check out her blog once she has it done, and compare our fun cards.
We are using the FTH Sketch, you can use the twist with it and make it Monochromatic, but I decided not to.
Thanks Tamie for cyber crafting with me friend, it has been a fun evening, we have to do this again soon.  I turned the sketch a bit, and my card is a A2 size card.

Hope You Score

Hello friends, another great challenge going on over at 4 Crafty Chicks, Tamie is asking us not to use pattern paper or some call it designer paper.  So here is a try for me.
Hope it inspires you to get into your craft room and make something fun.  This card was for My Great Nephew, his Birthday was a month ago today and he turned 12.  Time sure does fly by fast.  This young man is such a hockey guy, I would love to watch him in action one day.  They do not live close for me to watch. Maybe one day I'll be able to cheer him on in person.
So my image is from Kenny K stamps, fun to color up.  I seen this layout on Pinterest, and thought it would work well for the hockey boy I colored.
Please go over to 4 Crafty Chicks, check out what the design team has created.  Join along with our challenge.  Till next time, happy crafting!

Our Friendship...

Hello friends, glad you came back to my blog!  Today at Love To Scrap! we are having a fun challenge!  "Buttons and Bows", I love this.  Our one sponsor today is Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  I am using the stamp called Happy Hexagons.

I thought a black and white card looked pretty rich with this stamp.  I stamped the image and cut out each hexagon and placed them sort of on the corners.  Added my ribbon/bow diagonally and added some pearls.
I then matted the sentiment and used foam tape to pop it up.  I added three buttons at the bottom.
Our other sponsor today is Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet
Please go over to Love To Scrap! Challenge blog, and play along with us, and share some love to the wonderful design team, they are awesome!  Till Next Time-Happy Crafting!

Back It Up!

Hello Friends, welcome back to my blog.  There is some fun stuff happening over at Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog.  Our Challenge is pretty cool.  Back It Up!  That's right, lets see you make your own background paper, no pattern paper or some call it designer paper.
The sponsors today at LTS are Bugaboo Digi Stamps and Eureka.
I am using from Eureka the lovely Digi Tea Cup!
I thought it was pretty.  I printed the cup on white cardstock and I faded the printing, so you can see it a wee bit.  Then printed it off so I could color it, and 3D it up on my card.  I liked how it turned out.
I do hope you get into your craft room today and play around, make your own background paper, I am sure you will have as much fun as I did creating.  Please pop on over to Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog and share the love with our amazing team and play along.  Till next happy crafting!
Supplies: Stamp-Eureka-Digi Tea Cup, flowers, Pearl Gems, Die Cut Leaf, Embossing Folder, Copic Markers, Ribbon, Leaf Punch, Foam 3D dots, glue dots, black ink for inking edges.
