Happy 70th Anniversary

Hello friends, and welcome back to my blog.  Sure happy you stopped by.  Today over at 4 Crafty Chicks, we are having our Anything Goes Crazy Egg Challenge.  I just have to share this story about my card.

My parents live in a senior Lodge and their friends celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in August.  So Mom asked me to make a special card for them.  Wow, what a undertaking, as isn't this amazing 70 years together, you just don't hear this much any more.  I wanted it to be special for them.  No pressure, then my husband came into my craft room and said, why don't you just make it like any other anniversary card but bigger and put the number 70 on it.  Well that is what I did.
The image I colored reminded me of a Grandpa/Grandma and love.  This image is from Mo Manning at stampingbella called Young Love.  Perfect I think.
Anyway thanks for stopping and stop over at 4 Crafty Chicks, we love hearing from you, play along, and I hope you get into your craft room to create something soon.  Till next time have a wonderful day.
 Card size 6X8
Supplies I used:

Happy Holidays

Hello and welcome back to my blog, so happy to share one more fun image from the wonderful High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  Our challenge this month at One Crazy Stamper has been Halloween/Christmas.  We are showcasing the High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  This one I am doing a wee bit different.  I like how it turned out.
This image is called Frosty Snowman, and I stamped him four times.  I used some Mask-It and had some fun.  The last image of him I popped up using 3D foam squares.  Oh and of course I colored him using copic markers.

Merry Christmas Non-Tradition Colors

Hello friends, I had fun making this card, I hope you get a chance to try something new with your crafting.  I seen this on Pinterest and thought I should try it.  My friend Lori is having a cool challenge over at Merry Monday to use Non-Tradition Christmas Colors.  If you have a chance to play in the challenge or even pop over to Merry Monday and share the love.  They would love to see you over there.
I used Stampin' Up Choc Chip, Pool Party, Island Indigo cardstock.  I used Marvelous Squares-Spellbinders, and I used every die in the package.  I added some bling swirls, and some pearls.
Oh the inside I used the sentiment on vellum and added some more swirl pearls.
I used 3D foam squares, and liquid glue.  I hope you can see how this card folds together with these photos.  It was pretty fun to make, and I love these dies from Spellbinders.  Till next time happy crafting.

Greetings #217 4CC

Thanks for checking in with me.  The challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks today is hosted by our girl Lori, and she has asked us to create a project using the colors Coral, Black and White.

I used the poinsettia spellbinder die and the MS leaf punch to add around my flower.  Some ribbon and a sentiment.  Oh yes and some pearls in the corner.  I also used my Wink of Stella brush pen to add a wee bit of sparkle to the petals.  The embossing I did on the white card-stock is a Spellbinder die called decorative window scene.
I do hope you get a chance to play the challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks, share the love, and I do hope you get into your craft room.

Double Dutch Fold Christmas Cards

Hi friends, and welcome back, I have been playing around with some different folding cards.  I seen a few around and wanted to share what I have created.  The tutorial I started with is from the amazing The Outlawz Challenge, thanks to them my first one is really my second attempt, as the first real one is a 5x6 and I thought this one would work great also as a A2 size card.
I am using my paper pack from Heartfelt Creations, love this paper.  I had a few details here and there, but for the most part pretty simple.
This is the first card I made and it is 5x6 once it is completed.
I added some spellbinder border on the bottom, some pearls.  Used my wink of stella pen to give a few places some sparkle.

Anything Goes with a Twist - #3ATG with Shimmer/Sparkle
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - #33 Use your Imagination
Sister Act Card Challenge - #79 Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping and I hope you get in your craft room and try something different, but oh so much fun.  Till next time.  Cheers!

Happy Birthday #216 4CC

Hello and welcome back to my blog, today our challenge is hosted by our wonderful chick Tamie over at 4 Crafty Chicks is Birthday, and I wanted to try something a wee bit different.  It didn't work out as planned, but I will show you the card I made.
What I did was stamped the flowers using black versafine and added clear embossing powder and heated it up, the paper I used is Vellum.  The texture on there is great, and then I cut them out with Spellbinders and started to curl the petals on the flowers so they have dimension using my stylus.  Started to look great.
Then as I am putting them together the black ink/embossing powder is fall off.  So little flicks of black everywhere.  So not sure that it works on the Vellum very well.  I finished the card anyways, to show you how I did this.  I used some spellbinders and some gold brush card-stock and added a butterfly.

Fun Crafting

Hello Friends, I have been busy getting my cards together and a few other projects to sell at the local craft sale on October 25th.  I am using the card boxes for a few door prizes too.  I like how the Starbucks coffee gift card holder looks, you could make these pretty fast.  The card boxes hold 4 A2 cards with envelopes, and the 3.5 x 3.5 cards in the bottom one.  I would next time make the cards 3x3 or 4x4, the envelopes were hard to make the correct size.  The Christmas Tree was using 1/2 inch stripes of paper, you could make this with scraps or whatever Christmas paper you have.  I like the double sided Bo Bunny Paper that I have in my scrap bin.

Thanks again for stopping and I hope you get into your craft room and get crafty!
